Hall of Famer, Frances R. Curico, Ph.D., visited some of the most remotely inhabited Islands on the planet—The Easter Island, located in the South Pacific, 2,200 miles from the West Coast of Chile, this summer. She wished to learn and experience how other people live, work and play there. She met Mahani Teave, who left a concert career to establish a free music and arts school on Easter Island.
