Memoir New Dorp was the best. I have learned so much there. Oh my goodness just the word New Dorp makes me smile. During my time there I was on the girls soccer team the best in Staten Island, Girls VolleyBall, BasketBall, and most of alll the dance team. I even attended my prom which was(smile) the best. Although, I was the only African American there I had a blast because all my close friends from the teams and clubs were also there. The teachers were wonderful to me. My favorite subjects were French and Dance, the others were great. Just say I A's them every time. Oh yeah the cafeteria food was great, the staff in the lunch room were so friendly and sometimes u thought they were your friends. The administration was ok. I really love my school and sometimes miss it. ? (Is the pizza shop still at the corner of Hylan and New Dorp Lane they made the best oil dripping crust licking pizza, and the zeps were the best in town). New Dorp High School; the best school in Staten Island.
