Great Teachers at New Dorp!

Memoir It wasn't one memory it was many but I would just like to say thanks to all the teachers who helped me become who I am today. When I first came to New Dorp I was still hurt and angry over my sisters passing away and I had no friends because I had just moved to staten island. But most of the people I met were really great to me and helped bring me out of my shell. Mrs. Coglianese helped me alot and made me laugh when nothing seemed funny. Mr. Benjamin was very cool and always found some time to talk to me about comics and science fiction. Ive never been good at making friends with people my age either I found them too immature or we just didnt fit. Teachers have been the closest thing Ive ever had to real friendship most of my life and I am forever thankful that I have constantly had great teachers. Mr.Benjamin,Mr. Springer, Mrs.Romano, Mr. Tennenbaum and Mr Gerard just to name a few. They all treated me like an adult instead of just another impulse driven teenager and that made all the difference.

Thanks to all of you for nurturing my talents and making it ok to read comics and watch old bob hope movies and draw superheros in my spare time and all that other stuff that isnt cool to most people. And thanks for all the great advice it kept me out of trouble. Because of all the great teachers at new dorp I havent been in trouble a day in my life and I do my best to be respectful and nice to my elders in the hopes that it will produce the same result... finding great sources of advice that normally go ignored.
