Memoir As a member of the band under the direction of Nino Morreale, I never sat in the audience during an assembly or special event but always on stage. Nino liked us to play swing and big band tunes which I love to this day. I will always remember, as I was playing my trombone, watching the ushers dancing in the back of the auditorium to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. They always looked like they were having such a great time and I was glad when we played something they liked.
