Mock Trial
Mock Trial is a competition in which students get to play the role of attorneys and witnesses and they compete against other high schools. Through this competition students gain critical thinking, writing and research skills. Last year our team made it to round 4 of the competition and we beat Tottenville in round 3. This year we made it to round 3 and lost by 2 points.

Moot Court Team
Moot Court is a highly beneficial activity to directly experience the law field. Students compete at Fordham Law School and appeal a decision made in a case in the “lower courts.” They are judged by lawyers and law students on overall persuasiveness, ability to respond effectively to questions, knowledge of the case law, clarity of arguments, and poise and appearance. In the weeks leading up to the competition, students edit their arguments and practice them in front of their peers and our Mentor Lawyer.
