NDHS participated in the 30,000 Degrees men's basketball game at Wagner College.
The purpose of 30,000 degrees is to aid young people from Staten Island to graduate from college: ANY COLLEGE. By leveraging existing college readiness efforts and developing new strategies, we seek to achieve a measurable goal of an additional 30,000 baccalaureate degrees or higher on the Island by 2025.

The application period for the 2017 NYC Ladders for Leaders program is now open. This is a unique opportunity for the students of New Dorp High School to be placed in a meaningful professional summer internship.
The NYC Ladders for Leaders program, a component of the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), provides professional internships to NYC youth between the ages of 16 to 21. The Ladders for Leaders program is a competitive program that can lead to internships with some of the most dynamic corporations and businesses in New York City.
Since Ladders for Leaders is a competitive program, we are hosting an information session on Thursday, December 22 at 2:20 in the Auditorium. Students and parents can gain an understanding of how the application process works. I strongly encourage everyone to attend.
