Dear Fellow Alumni,
I hope this newsletter finds you and your families well. Now that the school year is underway, we look forward to
another great year at New Dorp High School. The Hall of Fame dinner this past May was a great success with the
induction of two new alumni into our Hall of Fame,
Hau Thai-Tang, Class of 1984 and Dr. Elias Youssef, Class of 2005. All those who attended the event had an enjoyable evening. We are now in the planning stages of our next Hall of Fame dinner to be held in May, 2023. More information will follow including the exact date. Hopefully, we can have it back at the school.
The Alumni Brick Program came to a close at the end of June. All of the new bricks will be installed upon delivery to the school. Thanks to all who supported the program over the years.
At a recent Alumni Board of Directors meeting, our new Principal, Seth Schoenfeld addressed our group and spoke about all of the exciting programs and events at the school We wish him much success as the new Principal of New Dorp High School and we look forward to working with him.
