- Hi my name is Janine Zagare and I am the Coordinator of Student Activities at New Dorp H.S. I also coach the Varsity Cheerleading spirit squad and our Competition team. I was a former student of the Math and Institute at New Dorp H.S. As a New Dorp student I participated on the student council, cheerleading team, SING, Varsity handball and was the manager for the Varsity lacrosse team. I believe it extremely important to get involved in your school. High school can be one of the best times of your life, and you need to make the most of it! My advice to everyone is to join a team, club or activity. If you don't see something that interests you, come see me and we will make something happen!!! New Dorp is THE BEST high school on Staten Island and I hope you enjoy your time here!!!
